Important information

Large or awkward items

Items that block seating or aisles may be held for the next sailing or charged an adult fare, at the discretion of our crew.

Safe loading and weight limits

For everyone’s safety, we reserve the right to decline cargo that cannot be loaded safely.

The total baggage and cargo weight per passenger must be less than 75 lbs.

Cargo liability

Cargo is carried at the owner’s risk unless a value is declared in advance for a small fee. Please speak with our team before sending your item.

Sending cargo without travelling

Unaccompanied cargo requires a prepaid waybill with:

  • The sender’s name and phone number.
  • The recipient’s name and phone number.

Passengers always travel first. If space or weight limits require it, cargo may be held for the next sailing.

Collecting your cargo

Please collect cargo on the day it arrives. A storage fee applies after 24 hours.

Suitcase allowances and charges take effect January 1, 2027.

Overweight suitcases: Only the weight above 40 lbs is charged. For example, a 50 lb suitcase incurs a $5 overweight charge.

Weight limit: Total baggage and cargo weight per passenger must be less than 75 lbs.
